In this lightning talk, we will consider the various ways that people engage with and research art libraries and collections, building metaphorical models to share our experiences as a way into recognising themes and patterns in library engagement, and considering how this type of discussion can help us continue developing our approaches to arts librarianship.

The use of Lego Serious Play encourages a creative approach to research, challenging participants to step out of their normal communication practice, with the aim of enabling different perspectives to be considered and explored.
