Each year the library gets involved in a Welcome Festival for new students who start their courses in September and January.  Looking for different activities, we were inspired by Megan Lott’s talk on makerspaces and the various activities described.  This year, we decided to try badge-making as one of the craft activities offered.  This short talk will share some of the positives and pitfalls of incorporating this activity into a library event.
